Creating a great presentation meant spending hours fine-tuning your slides, designing the layout, adding animations, and mastering PowerPoint.

Module 1 : Researching Presentation Topic with AI

The quality of your final presentation depends on the depth of your research and the AI presentation tool you use. You can follow the steps below to thoroughly research your topic before generating the presentation. 

Step 1: Decide Your Topic

First, you need to decide on the topic of your presentation and the information you need in your slides. For example, my PPT topic is “Future of AI in eCommerce”.

Step 2: Conduct Topic Research with AI

Next, we will provide our topic to an AI assistant in the form of a prompt. You can use ChatGPT or Gemini for this. Here’s the prompt you can provide:

I want to create a PPT on the topic ‘Future of AI in eCommerce’.

Give me a list of the things I should research for including in this PPT. 

For example, Adoption Statistics & Market Trends, Core AI Technologies used in eCommerce, Case Studies, Leading Companies, Research, Predictions, etc.

Give this information to me in a structured manner.

It will provide you with all the relevant topics you should research before generating your PPT.

Step 3: Perform Deeper Research for Slide Content

Next, we will use Manus AI to conduct in-depth research and structure it into different slides. Manus AI is a power-packed AI research tool that offers 500 AI credits for free! 

you sign up on Manus AI, we will paste the output you received from ChatGPT or Gemini into Manus AI. Here’s the prompt:

I want you to do a deep research on “AI in ecommerce” 
Here are some of the topics you can do research on. Also, consider finding new information on new topics which you think is relevant.  

[Copy output from prompt 1 here] 

Step 4: Check Generated Files and Export Them

Manus AI will conduct your research in multiple phases, which would take about 10 to 15 minutes. Once the research is complete, you can check the files listed in its Documents tab. These are detailed research reports generated by Manus AI. 

Finally, we will download the provided documents in markdown (.md) format. This is where our research process ends. 

Module 2: Creating a Prompt for Our Presentation 

Step 5: Paste Your Slide-Generation Prompt in ChatGPT

Now that we have completed our research, we need to convert this data into a slide format. For this, we will provide the following prompt to ChatGPT or Gemini. 

want to create a PPT on the topic “ [Enter topic] “

Instructions:

I have attached all my research data. Please analyze this data thoroughly.

Based on your analysis, structure the presentation into well-organized slides.

For each slide, provide a slide title and concise, informative slide text/content that clearly communicates the main ideas and insights.

Also include tables & graphs where it’s necessary.

Expected Output:

A list of slides with suggested titles.

Key points or text for each slide, written in an engaging, professional style suitable for a business audience.

Give the output in the following format:

Slide 1 Title - Data -

and so on.

Also, upload your exported files to ChatGPT along with your prompt. Make sure to enable the Reasoning mode before you run the query. In this prompt, I replaced the topic with my PPT topic – “Future of AI in eCommerce”.

Module 3: How to Create a Presentation using AI?

In the final phase, we will create a beautiful and professional-looking presentation with Gamma AI. It even has a free plan with 400 one-time credits. Let’s dive into the steps.

Step 1: Sign Up for Gamma AI

First, we will start by creating a free account on Gamma. You can sign up using your Google account or by entering your email address. 

Step 2: Create New Presentation

Once you are logged in to Gamma, hit the Create New button visible on the top left. 

There are 3 ways to create your PPT – by pasting your text, by importing a file or webpage, and by using an AI prompt. We will go with the ‘Paste in Text’ option. 

Step 3: Paste Output from ChatGPT

Now, we will paste the output of the slide structure we got in the last step into Gamma AI’s editor. We will then click on the “Summarize Long Text” option. 

By default, it presents the content in free-form. But you can also split it into card-by-card format for enhanced clarity. 

If there are any graphs or charts in the ChatGPT output, you can also paste them in the relevant slides. 

Step 4: Choose a Theme

Before generating your PPT, the AI will ask you to choose a theme from its library. It also offers categories like Light, Dark, Colorful, Professional, etc, to simplify it for you. 

Once you find the right theme, hit the Generate button and your PPT will be ready within seconds. I chose the ‘Tranquil’ theme for my presentation. 

Step 5: Customize your PPT

Next, go through your PPT and check how each slide is presented. 

If you’re not satisfied with a particular layout, you can hit the ‘Edit with AI’ option and select “Try New Layout”. It will generate multiple appealing layout options for you to try.  

Within text content, you can fix spelling and grammar, make text longer or shorter, translate, break into bullet points, etc. Whereas, with images, you can replace an image, add a new image, or make the existing image more visual. 

Step 6: Fine-Tune Your Images

If your AI-generated images are not as per your expectations, Gamma lets you separately fine-tune visuals. Just click on the image, hit the AI button, and chat with the AI to make the edits. You can also remove image background, add natural lighting, soften color palette, etc. 

Alternatively, if you don’t want to use AI image generator, Gamma AI also lets you use images from Unsplash, GIFs from Giphy, Pictographic illustrations, and more. Under the graphs and charts, you will need to cross-check and verify the numeric values and data.

Step 7: Add Elements

Additionally, you can also explore different card templates, smart layouts, and basic blocks like text, tables, lists, etc. 

You can also upload or import video and media elements, embed apps, webpages, charts, diagrams, and more to enhance the look of your final PPT. 

Step 8: Present Your PPT

Once you are happy with all the edits, hit the ‘Present’ button on the top right. It takes you to the final slideshow. Gamma AI has a cool feature called Spotlight for engaging slides.

It only highlights the element you are currently on and blurs the rest of the slide. It can be activated by pressing the ‘S’ key. I loved this handy feature. It’s great for keeping your viewers focused. 

Step 9: Share and Export the PPT

Finally, once you’ve made all the desired changes, you can share presentations with others as a link. Alternatively, it can also be exported as a PDF, PPT, PNG, or Google Slides.
